Blue Teapot chosen for ID Projects 2010
Blue Teapot has been chosen as one of the two groups from Galway city to participate in ID Projects 2010.
The Galway Film Centre, under its ID Projects Scheme, has been working with community groups to develop technical, practical and personal skills, in the area of documentary making since 2000.
ID Projects 2010 is supported by Galway Film Centre in association with Galway City Council & Galway County Council and The Arts Council.
The ID Projects aim to document a broad range of issues and subjects in society today by empowering groups to tell their own stories. This is done by giving participants basic foundation training and hands-on experience in the areas of writing, directing, camera, sound and editing. The groups then tell their own stories based on the common theme of identity.
Blue Teapot is very excited to be a part of this project and has been working with ID Projects for the past two months shooting footage to tell our story.
